How You Can Help
There are so many opportunities to help dogs. Below are a couple of the hundred. Anything helps!
Sign a Petition
You can make a difference by signing petitions relating to puppy mills. More petitions are found at Change.org
Support Legislation
You can support anti-puppy mill legislation by contacting representatives, submitting public testimony, and raising awareness. This drives permanent change that protects thousands of animals at once. By transforming these bills into laws, you grant enforcement agencies the power to inspect facilities, penalize bad actors, and close broker loopholes that keep commercial mills profitable.
Below are a couple of the many bills that are currently in the process of being passed.
Support Shelters
Local shelters, breed-specific rescues, and anti-puppy mill advocacy groups rely on community support to save dogs. By helping shelters, you help them conduct investigations, rehabilitate dogs, and educate the public.
